Boring Holidays

I had a week off school. I was so bored. I just stayed at home doing nothing. All my friends traveled and I stayed alone. Just my plush bears and I. I studied like crazy and on top of that, the last day of my holidays my sister went back to France to study. Well you can say that my holidays were pretty horrible. At least I was able to sleep until the afternoon. That was the only good point of my holidays, not having classes! And guess what? Christmas is arriving! I can’t wait; I’m going to the beach with my family! I’m pretty excited about that.

A day in the Amusement Park.

If you ever come to Brazil and you are going to stay some time, you should visit Hopi Hari!

Hopi Hari is a well known Amusement Park in the state of São Paulo, near Campinas. It’s located about 2 hours by car from São Paulo city. There are many attractions to go. The one I like the most is the “Ekatomb” and the “Montezum”. But you should try them all!

Also, in Hopi Hari, there’s a different language (invented by Hopi Hari) that people who works there use. It’s called ”Hopês”. It’s almost like the Portuguese. Here are some words in Hopês you can hear or read while you are at the park:

- Tchau: Tchauí (Goodbye)

- Obrigado: Danki (Thank you)

- Oi: Oiê (Hey, hello)

- Que horas são?: kuanto ki tikitaki? (What time is it?)

- Volte Sempre: Vendinovu (Come and visit us again)

- Fotografia: click click (Picture)

- Estou com fome: mi ké hangá! (I’m hungry)

- Bem-vindo: Bom bini (Welcome)

- Eu fui: tivi la (I went)

So don’t miss the chance to visit this Amusement Park while in Brazil!!

Rainy days

When you don’t have anything to do and you aren’t going out, rainy days are the best! Nothing like a change in scenery. I think it’s pretty cool, the noise of the rain is relaxing; the mood is awesome, especially when it is supposed to be sunny out and the sky is covered. So here are some tips to help you enjoy your rainy day:

- Go for a walk (with an umbrella of course.)

- It’s fun to try to do something that you never did, like finishing a 1000 piece puzzle!

- There is always the option of staying at the computer.

- You can watch TV or a good film drinking hot chocolate.

- Ask food by the telephone.

- You can try to bake a cake… It’s pretty fun.

- You can also go to sleep. I don’t know why but it sure helps me sleep

I hope that this post gave you some good tips to enjoy your rainy days.

Finally I don’t need to wait anymore! Tomorrow I’m going to a store that opened a long time ago called “Virgin again”. I couldn’t go because I didn’t have time but I managed to find some and am going with my friend. I’m so excited; I’ve always wanted to visit this store, like, since ages ago. It’s an accessories store located in the “Avenida Augusta”, a well- known street in São Paulo. The first time I learned about this store was in a magazine and there were a lot of cute things like rings, bracelets and T-shirts! After I visit the store I can tell you guys more about it. Byeeee!

A day in the Park…

Last Sunday I went to Ibirapuera Park with many friends. It was supposed to be the perfect day. The only problem was that it was raining. We got all soaked. It wasn’t like we imagined but we had a great time together. In the end, something not at all perfect finished by being the funniest day of ours lives!

How to play paintball

“It was reeeeally fun!”

How I did it: I was with my cousins and some of friends. One of ours friends was going to play paintball and he invited us (of course we accepted). I was soooo exited! We divided in two groups, boys vs. girls. Well, I can’t say we won because all the boys were pros! In the end I was covered in paint, but now I do paintball almost every month! It hurts a little when you get hit, but it isn’t something that you star to cry and scrim. Actually, I think everybody should do this once in their lifes!

Lessons & tips: Don’t start runing in front of your enemy! (especially if he’s pro in paintball >.<”)

It took me 1 day.

It made me sooo HAPPY!
